02Aktiv
What I built

On mobile
Every page was designed for the phone first, because that is where people find the brand and shop it.

02Aktiv is an African gym and sportswear brand from Nigeria. The clothes are made for heavy sessions and Nigerian heat: breathable, sweat wicking, and bold enough to wear outside the gym. The brand had the product and the photography. The website was holding it back.
The store lived on a Wix template. It looked like every other shop built on the same template, every change meant fighting the editor, and the brand was paying monthly for features it barely used. 02Aktiv wanted a store that felt like the brand, that they owned completely, and that the team could run day to day without calling a developer.
I designed and built a new store from scratch and moved the whole business off Wix onto Cloudflare. The storefront, the database, the product photos and the checkout all run there now. I kept every old Wix product link working, so nothing already shared on Instagram or indexed by Google broke on launch day.
The logo and brand identity are by Iweanyegbune Okafor. My job was to build a store that carries that identity through every page.
Home
The home page opens on a full screen campaign film with one line of copy and a single call to action. Below it: shop by gender, a "Shop the look" section that adds a whole outfit to the bag in one tap, customer reviews, shop by category, and the brand story.

Shop
Every category has its own page with filters for type, price and stock, plus sorting. Sold out pieces stay visible with a clear label, so shoppers can still save them to their wishlist and come back when they restock.

Product page
Colours, sizes, a size guide and a low stock note that only appears when it matters. Shoppers can add to cart or go straight to checkout. A second photo shows on hover across the whole store, so people see the fit before they click.

Checkout and admin
Payments go through Paystack. The server confirms with Paystack that the full amount was paid before an order is marked paid, and prices are always recalculated on the server, so nobody can edit a price in their browser and check out cheaper.
Behind the store is an admin panel I built for the team. They move orders from new to delivered, add and edit products, drag photos into order, set sale prices, manage categories, delivery fees and discount codes, and see what is running low. The login locks itself after repeated wrong passwords.
I can take a brand off a template platform and give it a complete store of its own: storefront, payments, database and admin, designed and built by one person. 02Aktiv now owns every part of its shop and runs it without monthly platform fees.
